Understanding Michael Jackson's "Man in The Mirror" by: Ramon Corporan

Michael Jackson-Man in the Mirror

The song "Man in the Mirror" by: Michael Jackson is about a man that wants to change the way he is. He wants to live better because he wants a better world for the people in it. The evidence that I have to prove this is when Michael says that he is starting with the man in the mirror asking him to change his way. He also says that if you want a better place take a look at your self and make the change. This means that if you want a better world you have to change in order to make others change. The purpose of this song is to make people change and to make a better world. This is important because there is a lot of people that spend money on things that they don't really need. For example, a 5,000 dollar Gucci bag is not necessary when there are people that don't have anything to eat or don't have clothes. I have a connection to this song because I see a lot of people buying things that they don't need when so many others need so much.
