In the song he say's "do you remember the first time we fell in love". This means that he is trying to make her remember when they were in love. The purpose of this song is to tell people that if you love someone don't give up, you have to keep trying. This song is important because their are a lot of people that think that what they want is impossible and don't try to do attain it. I can make a connection with this song because I see a lot of people that give up before they try something in their life.

Life is like a book. There are beginnings, problems, goals, dreams, resolutions and endings. That is what the song "I was here" by Beyonce talks about. The song also emphasizes that we can not spend a minute of our lives sitting there and doing nothing because at the end you are going to wish that you had those moments back. That is why you have to do something that everybody will remember, you want to say that you did something good in your life. Most importantly you have to enjoy everything that life could give you, so you won't have any regrets. You have to keep in mind that in life you have to live, love and laugh because nobody knows when it's going to end. Life is just about doing everything you want to do and that maybe everything could be more than you thought it would be just like Beyonce said in the song. This song teaches us the importance of living your life as u want to live it. However, living your life as you want to, means leaving your footprints. These footprints can influence others people's  lives and they might  use you as an example of somebody who worked hard to leave something everyone could remember.

Michael also says that she'll be your everything if you make her a star, this means that she is going to do everything you say if you'll make her a star. The purpose of this song is to inform people that their are a lot of people doing bad things to take care of  themselves. Additionally, there are not only bad girls their can also be bad men out there to. This song is important because there are people that need help and are doing bad things instead of asking for help.

Understanding Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken" By: Kevin Loja

The Road Not Taken By Robert Frost is about two diverging roads and one person trying to make a decision.  The main character in this poem does not know were he needs to go. He starts thinking which way is right. These two paths can affect his life so he starts comparing the two roads to see the difference. He also does not know if he can come back to choose the other road. Additionally, the main character does not know what is going to happen once he chooses a road. The main character finally decides to take the road that not many people chose. This poem is trying to tell you that you can choose your own path in life. This poem also is trying to say that you need to think about how you make your decision. I made a connection with this poem in my life because sometimes I need to make some important decisions.

The evidence that I have to prove this is when Michael says that he is starting with the man in the mirror asking him to change his way. He also says that if you want a better place take a look at your self and make the change. This means that if you want a better world you have to change in order to make others change. The purpose of this song is to make people change and to make a better world. This is important because there is a lot of people that spend money on things that they don't really need. For example, a 5,000 dollar Gucci bag is not necessary when there are people that don't have anything to eat or don't have clothes. I have a connection to this song because I see a lot of people buying things that they don't need when so many others need so much.

Fireworks by Katie Perry motivates and encourages you to do your best and to most importantly show the world what you can do for it, that you could make a change. In the song, she specifically explains why you should always follow your dreams no matters what. Which means that if you did not have a good day, tomorrow may not be the same, it is going to be even better and brighter. The only things you need to do are  believe that you are a winner and have the guts to make something special. This song is also giving advice about finding your own way in life and feeling good about yourself. The song makes you feel like nothing is impossible, because nothing really is. Just like Katie Perry says in the song " Baby your are fireworks" and "After a hurricane comes the rainbow". "Fireworks" is considered a song of inspiration especially for teenagers, who most of the time are confused about the world and themselves.

In the song "Beat It" by: Michael Jackson people give the main character advice. They tell him not to come around here because if he does something bad is going happen to him. Perhap,s they may kill or rob him. The evidence to prove this is when people tell the main character "You’re playing with your life, this ain't no truth or dare, they'll kick you, then they beat you and they'll tell you it's fair". This is so important because this advice can save his life. I made a connection to this song because sometime I go to science class and I am being lazy, but Mr. Martinez gives me good advice, which I never heard before like he tells me to do, so I do all the work so that I can pass the region.
