Understanding Beyonce's "I was here" by: Jeiry Nunez

Life is like a book. There are beginnings, problems, goals, dreams, resolutions and endings. That is what the song "I was here" by Beyonce talks about. The song also emphasizes that we can not spend a minute of our lives sitting there and doing nothing because at the end you are going to wish that you had those moments back. That is why you have to do something that everybody will remember, you want to say that you did something good in your life. Most importantly you have to enjoy everything that life could give you, so you won't have any regrets. You have to keep in mind that in life you have to live, love and laugh because nobody knows when it's going to end. Life is just about doing everything you want to do and that maybe everything could be more than you thought it would be just like Beyonce said in the song. This song teaches us the importance of living your life as u want to live it. However, living your life as you want to, means leaving your footprints. These footprints can influence others people's  lives and they might  use you as an example of somebody who worked hard to leave something everyone could remember.
